The Classical Elements: Flip Book Anmations

In 1868 John Barnes Linnett invented a book that had a series of images which when flicked through fast enough it'll create the illusion of movement this was called the 'Flip Book'. This works on the same principle as the Zoetrope.

Flip Books are now known to be toys for children, but they have also been an effective promotional tool since there creation for such decidedly adult products automobiles and cigarettes.
